How AOY Points Work
The All In Tournament Trail calculates Angler of the Year (AOY) points based on both tournament performance and AITT Membership.
Unlike most tournament organizations, AITT Membership is optional.
Anyone may fish an AITT tournament.
However, only AITT Members earn AOY points and compete for the season-long Angler of the Year title.
The five highest point totals from the eight regular-season tournaments determine the final AOY score.
This approach allows anglers to enjoy individual tournaments without requiring an annual membership while rewarding members who commit to competing throughout the season.
How Points Are Calculated
After each tournament is complete, overall tournament finishing positions are determined first.
AOY points are then awarded only to eligible AITT Members.
Non-members are skipped during the AOY points calculation.
The next highest-finishing AITT Member receives the next available AOY point position.
This process continues until every eligible member has received an AOY point total for that tournament.
Example
Although the overall tournament winner was not an AITT Member, the highest-finishing member receives first-place AOY points. Non-members are skipped only for AOY calculations and do not affect tournament payouts or tournament standings.

AITT was designed to give anglers a choice.
Fish a single event without an annual membership, or become an AITT Member and compete for the season-long Angler of the Year race.
This flexibility allows more anglers to participate while rewarding those who choose to compete throughout the season.
